Who we are

Hit the Road Dude AI (hittheroaddude.meme) is operated by Hit the Road Dude AI Studio, United States. Contact us at support@hittheroaddude.meme for any privacy question or request.

Photos you upload

Photos you upload are used only to create the videos you request. They are stored privately, never shown publicly, never sold and not used to train AI models.

Uploaded photos and generated videos are deleted automatically 72 hours after creation. You can delete them sooner by deleting your account or by emailing support@hittheroaddude.meme.

We do not perform facial recognition or create biometric templates or identifiers. Your photos are sent to our AI generation provider only to produce your videos and are not retained by us beyond the period above.

Information we collect

  • Account information from Google sign-in: name, email address and profile picture.
  • Usage information: the styles you choose, credit balance and purchase history.
  • Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We receive the order ID, amount and status but never your full card details.
  • Technical information: IP address (stored only as a one-way hash for abuse prevention), browser type and pages visited.
  • With your consent: analytics data from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

How we use information

  • To provide the service, create your videos and manage your credits.
  • To prevent abuse, such as limiting free usage and blocking automated requests.
  • To send transactional emails such as a welcome email and credit confirmations.
  • To answer support requests you send us by email.
  • With your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention) and with your consent (analytics cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time in Cookie settings.

Retention

  • Uploads and generated videos: 72 hours.
  • Account and credit records: while your account is open.
  • Payment records: as required for tax and accounting obligations, even after account deletion.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to processing or withdraw consent. Delete your account from the account panel or email support@hittheroaddude.meme. We respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Hit the Road Dude AI is not intended for anyone under 16. Do not upload photos of children.
